U.K. Stocks Update: FTSE 100 Falls 103.69 to 4,876.56

Oct. 6 (Bloomberg) -- The U.K.'s benchmark stock index, the FTSE 100, fell 2.08 percent at 8:05 a.m.

The index of 102 stocks traded on the London Stock Exchange fell 103.69 to 4,876.56. Among the stocks in the index, 1 rose, 71 fell and 30 were unchanged.

Declines in the FTSE 100 were led by Hsbc Holdings Plc (Hsba Ln), Glaxosmithkline Plc (Gsk Ln) and Bg Group Plc (Bg/ Ln). About 9.33 million shares traded in the FTSE 100.
