Bombardier, Toronto-Dominion May Move: Canada Equity Preview

Feb. 25 (Bloomberg) -- Shares of the following companies may have unusual moves in Canadian trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are from the previous close.

Aastra Technologies Ltd. (AAH CN): The maker of telecommunications gear reported fourth-quarter profit excluding some items of 10 cents a share, 26 percent less than the average estimate of analysts in a Bloomberg survey. The shares fell 1.7 percent to C$9.38.

Bombardier Inc. (BBD/B CN): The world’s second-largest trainmaker by sales won a contract valued at $75 million euros ($95 million) to sell 32 rail cars to the Victorian government in Australia. Bombardier gained 11 percent to C$2.91.

Toronto-Dominion Bank (TD CN): Canada’s second-largest bank by assets may report first-quarter earnings of C$1.27 a share excluding one-time items, the average estimate in a Bloomberg survey of analysts. Toronto-Dominion gained 7.5 percent to C$35.25.
