Aug. 27 (Bloomberg) -- Nippon Oil Corp., Japan's largest refiner, will process 3 percent less crude oil next month from a year ago, as it plans to shut a refinery in western Japan for scheduled maintenance.
The refiner will process 3.46 million kiloliters of oil in September, Managing Director Masahito Nakamura told reporters in Tokyo. The company plans to cut the price of gasoline and other refined fuels by 5.1 yen (5 cents) a liter next month compared with this month, he said.
