TOKYO, Sept 8 (Reuters) - Japanese publisher Nikkei said on Monday it would add Pacific Metals (5541.T: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) and Hitachi Construction Machinery (6305.T: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) to the Nikkei average .N225 as part of a reshuffle.
Index compiler the Nihon Keizai Shimbun, publisher of the Nikkei business daily, said it would remove Kumagai Gumi (1861.T: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) and Toagosei (4045.T: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) from the blue chip average.
The change will take effect from Oct. 1. (Reporting by Mariko Katsumura)
