Firstgroup, Next, ITV: U.K., Irish Equity Preview

Nov. 5 (Bloomberg) -- The following is a list of companies whose shares may have unusual price changes in U.K. and Irish markets today. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are from the last market close.

The benchmark FTSE 100 Index added 196.22, or 4.4 percent, to 4,639.50. The FTSE All-Share Index advanced 4.4 percent, and Ireland's ISEQ Index gained 1.6 percent.

U.K. companies:

Cobham Plc (COB LN): The world's biggest maker of airborne- refueling gear is scheduled to publish a trading update. The shares rose 9.3 pence, or 4.7 percent, to 205.5 pence.

Firstgroup Plc (FGP LN): Britain's biggest train operator will announce earnings. The stock gained 33.25 pence, or 8.1 percent, to 445.25 pence.

ITV Plc (ITV LN): The U.K.'s biggest commercial broadcaster will release a trading statement. The shares climbed 1.75 pence, or 5.9 percent, to 31.25 pence.

Liberty International Plc (LII LN): The largest owner of shopping centers in the U.K. will report results. The stock rose 44.5 pence, or 6.2 percent, to 758 pence.

Maple Energy Plc (MPLE LN): The oil and natural-gas producer with operations in Peru will announce earnings. The shares advanced 15 pence, or 11 percent, to 152.5 pence.

Next Plc (NXT LN): The U.K.'s second-largest clothes retailer is scheduled to report a trading update. The stock added 30 pence, or 2.7 percent, to 1125 pence.
