France Stocks Update: CAC 40 Rises 40.69 to 3,210.54

Nov. 27 (Bloomberg) -- France's benchmark stock index, the CAC 40, rose 1.28 percent at 9:05 a.m.

The index of 40 companies traded on the Paris Bourse rose 40.69 to 3,210.54. Among the stocks in the index, 37 rose, 2 fell and 1 was unchanged.

Gains in the CAC 40 were led by Total Sa, Gdf Suez and Societe Generale. About 2.53 million shares traded in the CAC 40.
