U.K. Stocks Update: FTSE 100 Rises 15.97 to 4,168.66

Nov. 27 (Bloomberg) -- The U.K.'s benchmark stock index, the FTSE 100, rose 0.38 percent at 8:05 a.m.

The index of 102 stocks traded on the London Stock Exchange rose 15.97 to 4,168.66. Among the stocks in the index, 66 rose, 29 fell and 7 were unchanged.

Gains in the FTSE 100 were led by Bp Plc (Bp/ Ln), Standard Chartered Plc (Stan Ln) and Vodafone Group Plc (Vod Ln). About 11.41 million shares traded in the FTSE 100.
