Nov. 17 (Bloomberg) -- The ruble weakened against the central bank's dollar-euro basket.
The currency, which is managed against the basket to protect export competitiveness, fell 0.4 percent to 30.7009 by 10:02 a.m. in Moscow, from 30.5811 on Nov. 14. Official ruble trading runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The ruble dropped 0.5 percent to 27.5148 per dollar and lost 0.3 percent to 34.5922 against the euro. The basket rate is calculated by multiplying the ruble's rate to the dollar by 0.55, the euro rate by 0.45, then adding them together.
