Oct. 5 (Bloomberg) -- Bangladesh plans to import 60,000 metric tons of wheat for delivery in November and December, the country’s Directorate General of Food said.
Suppliers have until 1 p.m. on Nov. 16 to submit offers, which should be valid until Dec. 7, the government agency that purchases and distributes food grains, said on its Web site.
The agency is seeking wheat from the latest harvest from any country. Suppliers must offer a minimum 30,000 tons and deliver to Chittagong and Mongla ports within two months of the contract being awarded, according to the tender document.
