July 29 (Bloomberg) -- OAO Novatek, Russia's largest independent natural-gas producer, increased second-quarter output of the fuel 2.9 percent.
Gas production advanced to 7.5 billion cubic meters from 7.29 billion in the year-earlier period, the Tarko-Sale, Siberia-based company said in an e-mailed statement today, citing preliminary data. Output of crude oil and gas condensate rose 1.7 percent to 603,000 metric tons in the period.
