Nov. 7 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies may have unusual price changes in Canadian trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses, and share prices are from the previous close.
The Standard & Poor’s/TSX Composite Index slid 3.4 percent to 9,555.41.
Constellation Software Inc. (CSU CN): The holding company for software firms posted third-quarter profit excluding some items of 58 cents a share, beating the average analyst estimate by 5.5 percent, according to a Bloomberg survey. Sales also beat estimates. The shares fell 1.8 percent to C$24.75.
Flint Energy Services Ltd. (FES CN): The oilfield-services company posted third-quarter profit excluding some items of 35 cents a share, exceeding the average analyst estimate by 10 percent. The shares gained 1.7 percent to C$6.14.
Ruggedcom Inc. (RCM CN): The maker of networking equipment and software posted second-quarter earnings of 26 cents a share, beating the average analyst estimate by 88 percent. The shares dropped 0.9 percent to C$10.90.
Vecima Networks Inc. (VCM CN): The maker of Internet-based phone equipment increased its stake in Redline Communication Group Inc. to 14 percent and may boost it to almost 20 percent. The shares dropped 4 percent to C$4.80.
