Dec. 10 (Bloomberg) -- Russia, the world’s largest oil supplier after Saudi Arabia, may slash its duty on crude exports from Jan. 1, the Finance Ministry said.
The duty will probably be cut to about $117 or $119 a metric ton, ministry official Alexander Sakovich said by telephone from Moscow today. The duty is now $192.10.
