Aug. 8 (Bloomberg) -- Germany's DAX Index rebounded, as shares of Henkel AG & Co. KGaA, Infineon Technologies AG and Deutsche Telekom gained.
The benchmark DAX Index added 6.79, or 0.1 percent, to 6,550.28 as of 9:39 a.m. in Frankfurt after losing as much as 0.4 percent earlier. The HDAX Index of the country's 110 biggest companies climbed 0.2 percent to 3,331.09.
Henkel, the maker of Persil detergent, increased 32 cents, or 1.2 percent, to 27.50 euros. Infineon, Germany's biggest maker of semiconductors, rose 5.5 cents, or 1 percent, to 5.52 euros.
Deutsche Telekom, Europe's largest phone company, gained 10.5 cents, or 0.9 percent, to 11.415 euros.
