Aug. 8 (Bloomberg) -- Silver fell to a six-month low in London, bringing the drop this week to almost 10 percent.
Silver for immediate delivery dropped 40 cents, or 2.5 percent, to $15.80 an ounce as of 8:24 a.m. in London, after earlier falling to $15.77, the lowest since Jan. 23. Prices are down 9.6 percent this week, the biggest such decline since mid- March.
