Aug. 15 (Bloomberg) -- Germany's benchmark stock index, the DAX Index, rose 0.41 percent at 9:05 a.m.
The index of 30 companies traded on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange rose 26.33 to 6,468.54. Among the stocks in the index, 24 rose and 6 fell.
Gains in the DAX were led by E.on Ag, Allianz Se and Deutsche Bank Ag. About 2.07 million shares traded in the DAX.
