Nov. 14 (Bloomberg) -- Nippon Oil Corp., Japan's biggest refiner, will shut a 110,000 barrels-a-day crude distillation unit from today because of reduced demand for refined products.
The refiner will shut the Mizushima #2 unit for one month, a spokesman said on condition of anonymity because of company policy. Nippon Oil may extend the shutdown if demand does not improve, he said.
