Nov. 21 (Bloomberg) -- Spain's benchmark stock index, the IBEX 35, rose 1.05 percent at 9:05 a.m.
The index of 35 companies traded on the Madrid Stock Exchange rose 83.70 to 8,072.10. Among the stocks in the index, 32 rose, 1 fell and 2 were unchanged.
Gains in the IBEX 35 were led by Banco Santander Sa, Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria Sa and Iberdrola Sa.
