Dec. 11 (Bloomberg) -- European Central Bank council member Christian Noyer told Le Figaro in an interview that inflation expectations have declined and that inflation readings may be negative in some months.
Noyer, also governor of the Bank of France, said he’s not worried about deflation and that inflation will remain positive on an annual basis. ECB interest rates will be set as a function of economic circumstances, he told the newspaper.
