Jan. 14 (Bloomberg) -- Germany's benchmark stock index, the DAX Index, rose 0.38 percent at 9:05 a.m.
The index of 30 companies traded on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange rose 17.62 to 4,654.56. Among the stocks in the index, 20 rose, 9 fell and 1 was unchanged.
Gains in the DAX were led by Allianz Se, Daimler Ag and Volkswagen Ag. About 3.62 million shares traded in the DAX.
