U.K. Stocks Update: FTSE 100 Little Changed at 4,403.07

Jan. 14 (Bloomberg) -- The U.K.'s benchmark stock index, the FTSE 100, rose 0.09 percent at 8:05 a.m.

The index of 102 stocks traded on the London Stock Exchange rose 3.92 to 4,403.07. Among the stocks in the index, 51 rose, 46 fell and 5 were unchanged.

Gains in the FTSE 100 were led by Bp Plc (Bp/ Ln), Royal Dutch Shell Plc (Rdsa Ln) and Standard Chartered Plc (Stan Ln). About 12.78 million shares traded in the FTSE 100.
