Jan. 22 (Bloomberg) -- The Swiss franc declined a second day against the euro and a fourth day versus the dollar.
The currency slipped 0.3 percent against the euro to 1.5069 as of 7:40 a.m. in Zurich. Versus the dollar, the franc weakened 0.4 percent to 1.1575.
Swiss National Bank Vice President Philipp Hildebrand said yesterday policy makers are prepared to intervene in currency markets at a fixed exchange rate if necessary to prevent a “renewed appreciation” of the franc.
