Sep. 24 (Bloomberg) -- France's benchmark stock index, the CAC 40, rose 0.65 percent at 9:05 a.m.
The index of 40 companies traded on the Paris Bourse rose 26.72 to 4,166.54. Among the stocks in the index, 32 rose and 7 fell.
Gains in the CAC 40 were led by Bnp Paribas, Edf and Axa Sa. About 3.55 million shares traded in the CAC 40.
