Sep. 24 (Bloomberg) -- Germany's benchmark stock index, the DAX Index, rose 0.65 percent at 9:05 a.m.
The index of 30 companies traded on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange rose 39.25 to 6,107.78. Among the stocks in the index, 23 rose and 7 fell.
Gains in the DAX were led by Volkswagen Ag, Siemens Ag and Muenchener Rueckversicherungs Ag. About 3.16 million shares traded in the DAX.
