Oct. 2 (Bloomberg) -- France's benchmark stock index, the CAC 40, rose 0.31 percent at 9:05 a.m.
The index of 40 companies traded on the Paris Bourse rose 12.62 to 4,067.16. Among the stocks in the index, 29 rose and 11 fell.
Gains in the CAC 40 were led by Societe Generale, Bnp Paribas and Total Sa. About 3.00 million shares traded in the CAC 40.
