Oct. 29 (Bloomberg) -- Chancellor Angela Merkel said the German government will announce a ``bold'' package of measures to bolster the economy amid a global slowdown.
The package will be ``targeted, bold and sustainable,'' Merkel said today in a speech in Berlin to members of the BGA wholesalers and exporters group. The Cabinet is scheduled to discuss the stimulus package on Nov. 5.
