Nov. 18 (Bloomberg) -- ConocoPhillips, the second-largest U.S. refiner, will repair pollution control devices at the gasoline-making unit at its Sweeny, Texas, refinery.
The Houston-based company plans to fix the electrostatic precipitators on its fluidized catalytic cracking unit for two hours today, according to a filing with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
The precipitators filter the emissions from the plants.
The refinery can process 260,000 barrels of oil a day, according to the U.S. Energy Department.
