PetroChina's Qinghai Oilfield, Refinery Aren't Damaged by Quake

Nov. 12 (Bloomberg) -- PetroChina Co.'s refinery and oilfield in Qinghai weren't damaged by an earthquake that struck the northwestern province earlier this week, its parent company said.

The Qinghai oilfield and the Geermu refinery are operating normally after the earthquake, Beijing-based China National Petroleum Corp. said in a statement on its Web site today.

A 6.3 magnitude earthquake struck the province on Nov. 10.
