Nov. 12 (Bloomberg) -- Vietnam, Southeast Asia's third- biggest oil producer, may buy crude from BP Plc, Royal Dutch Shell Plc and some Middle Eastern companies for the country's first refinery.
``We need to buy crude oil for the refinery that will come into operation next year,'' Tran Ngoc Canh, chief executive officer of state-owned Vietnam Oil & Gas Group, known as PetroVietnam, said at the GASEX 2008 conference in Hanoi.
