Nov. 25 (Bloomberg) -- The U.K.'s benchmark stock index, the FTSE 100, fell 0.85 percent at 8:05 a.m.
The index of 102 stocks traded on the London Stock Exchange fell 35.43 to 4,117.53. Among the stocks in the index, 30 rose, 64 fell and 8 were unchanged.
Declines in the FTSE 100 were led by Hsbc Holdings Plc (Hsba Ln), Vodafone Group Plc (Vod Ln) and British American Tobacco Plc (Bats Ln). About 15.73 million shares traded in the FTSE 100.
