Dec. 9 (Bloomberg) -- The pound snapped two days of gains against the dollar.
The U.K. currency slid to $1.4838 as of 6:39 a.m. in London, from $1.4915 yesterday. It strengthened to 86.76 pence per euro, from 86.89 pence.
