Areva, Galencia, SBM, Schindler, Solon: European Equity Preview

Aug. 19 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies may have unusual price changes in European trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses, and share prices are from the previous close.

The Dow Jones Stoxx 600 fell 0.1 percent to 286.95. The Dow Jones Stoxx 50 Index was little changed at 2,905.60. The Euro Stoxx 50 Index, a benchmark for the nations using the euro, slipped 0.1 percent to 3,366.09.

Aeroports de Paris (ADP FP): The owner of the French capital's Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports said traffic fell 0.5 percent to 8.5 million passengers in July, hurt by a decline in domestic travel. The shares rose 20 cents, or 0.3 percent, to 59.32 euros.

Areva SA (CEI FP): France isn't considering a link-up between the state-owned nuclear-plant builder and Alstom SA (ALO FP) as a measure to bolster growth, Finance Minister Christine Lagarde said. Areva's investment certificates added 2.7 euros, or 0.4 percent, to 687.34 euros, while Alstom shares fell 75 cents, or 1.1 percent, to 67.85 euros.

Cap Gemini SA (CAP FP): Europe's largest computer-services company's Sogeti unit plans to hire 800 engineers in France before the end of 2008. The shares fell 75 cents, or 1.8 percent, to 41.83 euros.

Forbo Holding AG (FORN SW): The world's largest maker of linoleum reports first-half earnings. The shares fell 7 francs, or 1.5 percent, to 465 francs.

Galenica Holding AG (GALN SW): Switzerland's largest drug wholesaler reports first-half earnings. The shares were unchanged at 385 francs.

Innogenetics NV (INNX BB): The diagnostics maker being bought by drugmaker Solvay SA (SOLB BB) swung to a profit in the second quarter on the reversal of a provision for expenses related to the termination of its vaccine-development business. Sales of testing kits rose 8.4 percent to 25.8 million euros in the first half. Innogenetics retreated 1 cent, or 0.2 percent, to 6.45 euros.

Ordina NV (ORDI NA): The Dutch computer-services company whose clients include Royal Dutch Shell Plc reports first-half earnings before the start of trading. The company may say net income was unchanged at 12.1 million euros ($17.8 million), based on the median estimate of eight analysts in a Bloomberg News survey. Ordina gained 29 cents, or 3.3 percent, to 9.03 euros.

SBM Offshore NV (SBMO NA): The world's largest producer of floating oil production platforms reports first-half earnings after the close of trading. The company may say net income slumped 40 percent to $82 million, based on the median estimate of seven analysts in a Bloomberg News survey. SBM Offshore added 23 cents, or 1.5 percent, to 15.10 euros.

Schindler Holding AG (SCHP SW): The world's second-largest elevator maker may report a second-quarter profit of 149 million Swiss francs ($136 million), according to a Bloomberg survey. The company is disclosing second-quarter earnings for the first time. The shares rose 1.8 francs, or 2.5 percent, to 74.2 francs.

Solon AG fuer Solartechnik (SOO1 GY): The solar-cell maker is scheduled to post half-year results. The shares climbed 2.36 euros, or 5.6 percent, to 44.50 euros.
