Aug. 19 (Bloomberg) -- China Petroleum & Chemical Corp., Asia's biggest refiner, boosted the output of gasoline, diesel and jet fuel at its Maoming plant in July and August to meet demand before and during the Olympic Games.
Monthly crude processing volume at Sinopec Maoming Petrochemical Corp. stood at more than 1.15 million metric tons during the two months, parent China Petrochemical Corp. said in its newsletter today.
Sinopec Maoming increased diesel output in July by more than 400,000 tons to a record, it said.
