FRANKFURT, Aug 22 (Reuters) - Deutsche Bahn [DBN.UL] has added several banks to the consortium handling its initial public offering and plans Oct. 27 as the first trading day, a source familiar with the situation said on Friday.
The source said Citigroup , Credit Suisse , ABN AMRO and RBS have been added to the consortium as well as co-managers Commerzbank , DZ Bank, WestLB [WDLG.UL], BNP Paribas and Merrill Lynch ML.N.
In May, Deutsche Bahn had already selected Deutsche Bank , Goldman Sachs , Morgan Stanley and UBS as lead managers.
In addition, Dresdner Bank was selected to handle marketing to retail investors and Daiwa for preparations in the Japanese market.
Deutsche Bahn was not immediately available to comment. (Reporting by Kerstin Leitel)
