Aug. 20 (Bloomberg) -- Palladium futures in Tokyo surged from a 32-month low and rose the most in almost three years, leading gains in precious metals including gold, silver and platinum.
Palladium for June delivery jumped 8.3 percent to 1,052 yen a gram ($298 an ounce) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange, the biggest advance since Sept. 20, 2005. The most-active contract traded at 1,048 yen a gram at 10:06 a.m. local time, after yesterday dropping to the lowest since Dec. 26, 2005.
