(CEP News) - The continuing decline in July U.S. housing starts showed no signs of a bottom in sight, while producer prices rose more than expected in both the headline and core readings. Meanwhile, government-backed mortgage finance company Freddie Mac reignited fears in the debt market after weak auction results.
